David Klein has started a new baseball podcast called A Legend’s Life and it’s a little different from some of the other baseball podcasts out there.
This podcast focuses on the life lessons that are learned playing baseball (as well as some mechanical talk too), and that’s really interesting to me.
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ve probably heard me talk catching by watching my DVD, reading my book, or listening to other podcasts that I’ve been on. This podcast will give you a fresh perspective on some things you’ve never heard me talk about before.
Enjoy!
P.S. Thanks for asking me to be on the show David!
In part one of our interview, Xan Barksdale, the creator of CatcherCON, shares how his love for catching began and how he transitioned from being an undrafted free agent with the Braves to coaching D1 baseball. Xan discusses how his experiences have helped him become a baseball entrepreneur and gave him the tools and ambition to create CatcherCON from the ground up. His ability to stay positive through any process will motivate you to challenge yourself no matter how difficult a feat may seem.
In part two of our episode with Xan Barksdale, Xan dives into his daily routines, the importance of a diet, and the obstacles he’s faced developing his training DVD’s and organizing CatcherCON. The lessons from Xan’s transition from player to baseball entrepreneur will inspire you to take action and pursue your own passions.
